Today, Nevada Congresswoman and candidate for U.S. Senate Jacky Rosen hosted a roundtable with the Nevada Urban Chamber of Commerce in Las Vegas to discuss what’s at stake in this election for small businesses. The discussion focused on the need to improve Nevada’s education system, enhance support for entrepreneurs, and diversify our workforce.
The Urban Chamber of Commerce is an organization dedicated to helping small and diverse businesses in Nevada compete in the global economy by providing access to education and opportunities.
“It’s important for me to hear firsthand from local leaders about the issues that affect our small businesses and what we can do to help them succeed, and I valued the input from today’s roundtable discussion,” said Rosen. “Whether it’s improving our public schools, expanding access to apprenticeships and skills training, or bolstering programs that support small and minority-owned businesses, I will work in the Senate to give Nevada businesses the tools they need to thrive.”
