Congresswoman Jacky Rosen, Senator Catherine Cortez Masto cast their ballots at Cardenas Market in East Las Vegas
Nevada Congresswoman and Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate Jacky Rosen voted early today, casting her general election ballot at Cardenas Market in East Las Vegas alongside supporters including U.S. Senator Catherine Cortez Masto, Nevada’s first woman Senator and the nation’s first Latina Senator. Cardenas Market will be open for early voting through October 28 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Early voting will continue across Nevada through November 2.
“I can’t think of a better way to observe Nevada Day than casting my vote early in this critical midterm election where there’s so much at stake for Nevada families,” said Rosen. “Nevada has a proud tradition of independence, and people are tired of career politicians like Senator Heller who care more about pleasing special interest donors and party leaders in Washington than doing what’s right for our state. I’m running to stand up for hardworking Nevadans and work across party lines to protect Nevadans’ health care coverage, strengthen our schools, and fix our broken immigration system. With so much on the line on November 6, it’s more important than ever for Nevada voters to get involved and make your voices heard at the ballot box.”
