Henderson, Nev. – Henderson community leader Jacky Rosen’s campaign for Congress announced that her first television ad will begin running today. The ad, “Solutions,” highlights Rosen’s background as a computer programmer, her community leadership as President of her local synagogue, and her work to lead a major solar installation in Henderson.
“In her private sector career, Jacky Rosen broke barriers as a successful computer programmer and systems analyst working in the tech industry,” said campaign manager David Furr. “A results-oriented leader, she became President of the state’s largest synagogue and oversaw one of the largest solar energy projects by a nonprofit in the state. Jacky Rosen is the only candidate in this race who will work across the aisle to break the partisan gridlock in Washington and find real solutions for Southern Nevada families.”
Democrats hold a growing voter registration advantage in Nevada’s competitive open 3rd Congressional District, which President Obama won in 2008 and 2012. The district covers Southern Nevada, including portions of Las Vegas and Henderson.
